Description
The Explorer is a flat bottom, open top kayak designed to effortlessly carve through calm, flat water. It's design makes it ideal for people who are looking for fun on rivers, lakes and flat waters and is suitable for beginners and experienced paddlers alike. We have made the new model slightly wider making it more stable than ever. The Explorer triple model is the ideal kayak for two adults and a child to take on adventures. The Explorer comes with luggage straps at the front and rear so it has plenty of room for dry bags and gear for your day on the water.
The Explorer is inflatable but designed to feel just like a solid kayak with no compromise in performance. What’s more, it is more affordable than the equivalent hard shell kayaks on the market.
The Explorer comes with three removable deluxe kayak seats, three 4-piece paddles, three foot rests, a new, improved wheel bag as well as a removable skeg to add speed and stability.
The explorer is available as a single, double & triple seater.

We brought our double Sandbanks Style kayak in the January sale, picked it up from the shop on 02nd Jan and with the hour we’re on the water! So far we have used it in Poole Harbour and on the river Arun and have had great fun doing so! As the photos show we take our dog Scout with us, and my husband, I and Scout fit in the kayak easily with enough space for additional gear too. It is lovely and roomy! The kayak is also very stable on the water and when getting in and out of. It tracks well and moves through the water smoothly. Even where I am solo paddling the kayak I can get a decent speed and it doesn’t feel cumbersome. It’s so much sleeker and faster than the other inflatable kayaks we’ve had.
If there is anything I would improve it would be to do with the carry bag and to put the wheels on the other side. I’m only 5ft so when I was wheeling it I didn’t realise the accessory pocket was catching on the floor and has worn a hole. So it needs lifting high to wheel it along which is a bit tricky being so short! Also some handles on the side of the kayak itself might help with lifting it on your own.

Fab quality changing robe that fits my husband brilliantly. As good as any other branded changing robes out there.
Two purchased. A big improvement on the basic seats that came with my double kayak: a raised padded seat (no more wet backsides!) and better clips that won't corrode. Looking forward to trying these out in the spring when we get some warmer weather...

Great service from Sandbanks The seat I ordered was delivered within 2 days and it was on offer at the time of purchase £15 and now I think was a bargain as it looks and feels a nice quality seat and I am well pleased with it.
