Description

Paddleboarding isn’t just extremely popular amongst humans it’s also loved by dogs all over the world however, while humans have always had a comfortable mat to stand on, dogs have never had the luxury of riding in comfort and they totally deserve it!

We have worked closely with Vicky from Paws on Board, our local doggy expert who is not only an extremely knowledgeable dog trainer, she is also one of the worlds only dog surfing specialists. Together we have developed a detachable dog mat for inflatable paddleboards to help owners teach some posative assosiation before dogs ever get on the board.

The mat is designed to be as comfortable as possible for a dog’s paws while still offering great grip. It attaches to the luggage straps at the front of the board and is secured by clipping onto the D-ring at the nose. The clips are all on adjustable bungees so it can be attached any board, not just boards built by us. Best of all, the mat is machine washable so it’s easy to keep it clean.

Make sure your dog is off the board before detaching the mat.

A D-ring and the nose or under the nose.

Just what I needed for my collie, large enough for her as I was worried about the size but absolutely perfect, I did need to reduce the length of the front fastening but that was no problem either. Highly recommend. I also use it for my young granddaughter when she comes on with me as she loves lying on it dangling her fingers over the edge( she’s 7 and wears a life jacket).

Great for your dog

The key to this product are the clips on it's underside which alow you to secure it to your SUP or Kayak deck. I attach this to the front deck of the Optimal single seater, I have two border terriers who just about fit on it. The mat gives them plenty of grip. It does not move once clipped in place and privides protection to tge kayak from their grippy claws. Better than laying a towel out for your dog well worth the money.
