Description
The Explorer is a flat bottom, open top kayak designed to effortlessly carve through calm, flat water. It's design makes it ideal for people who are looking for fun on rivers, lakes and flat waters and is suitable for beginners and experienced paddlers alike. We have made the new model slightly wider making it more stable than ever. The Explorer comes with luggage straps at the front and rear so it has plenty of room for dry bags and gear for your day on the water.
The Explorer is inflatable but designed to feel just like a solid kayak with no compromise in performance. What’s more, it is more affordable than the equivalent hard shell kayaks on the market.
The Explorer kayak comes with two removable deluxe kayak seats, two 4-piece paddles, two foot rests & a new, improved wheel bag as well as a removable skeg to add speed and stability.
The explorer is available as a single, double or triple seater

Inflatable kayaks have come a long way since the traditional models with low pressure chambers & large tubular sides made from weak materials. Our full dropstitch inflatable kayaks are so rigid that you won't believe that they are inflatable!
Rigid like a solid: The drop stitch materials which we build our kayaks with allow the boats to pump up to 12PSI making the them rock solid.

The quality of the robe is excellent and very well finished. I opted for this robe as the colour scheme and branding is much nicer and more appealing than the more garish colour schemes than the other brands I was considering. It’s a very comfortable and well fitting robe and can be used more than just a robe at the beach.
The new grey wheelie rucksack is much better than the previous black one. It is made of tougher material and appears To have more strongly stitched seems. The extra handle between the shoulder straps, makes it much easier to wheel the bag along. It also functions well as a rucksack.
Great, took it out into the sea in fairly calm weather. The fin that came with it didnt fit due to a small manufacturing flaw but it was still tracking well without it so still worth giving it a 5 star. Sanded the fin down when i got back so I am keen to try it with that too.

Good robust inflatable & paddles ok
After borrowing a friends carbon paddle recently, I knew that I couldn’t paddle again without one!
I had read on various forums in the past that the best upgrade you can make to your kit is the paddle… they weren’t wrong.
It’s so nice a light and feels really strong, I’ve so far had one decent length paddle with it and cannot wait to use it on some longer adventures. Brilliant addition to my kit.

We brought our double Sandbanks Style kayak in the January sale, picked it up from the shop on 02nd Jan and with the hour we’re on the water! So far we have used it in Poole Harbour and on the river Arun and have had great fun doing so! As the photos show we take our dog Scout with us, and my husband, I and Scout fit in the kayak easily with enough space for additional gear too. It is lovely and roomy! The kayak is also very stable on the water and when getting in and out of. It tracks well and moves through the water smoothly. Even where I am solo paddling the kayak I can get a decent speed and it doesn’t feel cumbersome. It’s so much sleeker and faster than the other inflatable kayaks we’ve had.
If there is anything I would improve it would be to do with the carry bag and to put the wheels on the other side. I’m only 5ft so when I was wheeling it I didn’t realise the accessory pocket was catching on the floor and has worn a hole. So it needs lifting high to wheel it along which is a bit tricky being so short! Also some handles on the side of the kayak itself might help with lifting it on your own.
We’re very excited about all our future adventures together on this lovely kayak!
Really great quality. Kept us toasty on the beach on new year's eve in the cold winds. Looking forward to this being a staple after beach swims and paddleboarding all year.
